"No cookie-cutter approach to mental health"
AJ is a dual board-certified Family & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult psychiatric medication management. He utilizes a holistic, collaborative, and integrative approach to provide personalized, evidence-based, and non-judgmental psychiatric care. AJ highly values a therapeutic provider-client relationship built in trust, respect, and empathy. Our care philosophy is to restore hope and empower patients to achieve optimal mental health and wellness.
In All Good, we recognize that mental health is largely influenced by the complex dynamic between biological, psychological, and social/environmental circumstances. We believe that mental health is multi-faceted and should be seen as a spectrum rather than a binary state of being either mentally healthy or unwell. We all have the capacity to grow, adapt, and heal, though sometimes we need a little help in the process. Wherever you are in the mental health continuum, we will be with you every step of the way; from medication management to psychotherapy.
With education, training, certification, and a proud member of leading institutions in the field of psychiatry
What are patients saying about AJ
Patient initials: S.Z.
"After nearly 15 years of just relying on my primary care physician to manage my mental health I felt it was time to seek out doctor who specializes in psychiatry. I am so glad I did. I feel heard, respected, and understood. My provider at All Good understands that mental health does not always fit into neat boxes, and I have learned more in the past month about why my mind works the way it does than I have in the past 15 years"
Patient initials: T.S.
"Hands down best overall experience in the mental health field. Highly recommend!!!"
"AJ was super clear in his explanations, asked really specific questions about my symptoms and history, and created lots of space for me to clarify and elaborate on anything. My appointment was probably the best I've ever had regarding pharmacology treatment and highly recommend!"
"I wish we have more doctors like him!"
Patient initials: D.B.
"I would highly recommend Dr. Cruz. He actually cares about what you are going through and explains the science behind it. I felt hope leaving my appointment and I haven't felt that in a long time."
"I was really impressed by how thoroughly Dr. Cruz prepared for the appointment, listened, and made me feel comfortable. I’m glad I found this clinic and would recommend it."
